Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information - name, email, password, and profile details you provide.
• Content and inputs - the topics, prompts, text, images, audio, brand assets you submit, and the videos and other Outputs you generate, together with related metadata.
• Billing information - purchases and credit history. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• Connected accounts - when you connect a social platform, the tokens and identifiers needed to publish on your behalf.
• Usage and device data - log data, IP address, device and browser information, and interactions with the Service, collected in part through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use information

• operate, maintain, secure, and support the Service;
• generate your videos and, at your direction, publish them to connected platforms;
• process payments and manage credits and subscriptions;
• communicate with you about your account, transactions, security, and (where permitted) product updates and marketing, which you can opt out of;
• detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security or technical issues, and comply with law; and
• analyze and improve the Service, using aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your Inputs or Outputs to train our own foundation models. We use reputable third-party AI providers to generate content, as described below.

3. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure and improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work if you disable them. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• AI model and GPU providers - your Inputs and generated assets are transmitted to third-party AI model and GPU providers to produce scripts, images, voiceover, and motion, under their terms and privacy policies.
• Infrastructure and service providers - hosting, storage, email delivery, analytics, and customer support vendors that process data on our behalf.
• Payment processor - Stripe, to process and manage payments under its privacy policy.
• Social platforms you connect - to publish content at your direction.
• Legal and safety - to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of MaqtAi, our users, or others.
• Business transfers - in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete content or close your account, we remove it from active systems within a reasonable period, though residual copies may persist in backups for a limited time.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical, organizational, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International data transfers

We operate in and use providers located in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information across borders, including from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy mechanism.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of marketing. You can update your profile, disconnect social accounts, and delete content in the Service, or contact us at [email protected] to exercise your rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

9. Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

10. Notice to European/UK users (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, MaqtAi is the controller of your personal information. We process it on the legal bases of performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Service), your consent (where requested, e.g., certain cookies and marketing), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]; we generally respond within one month.

11. U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on your state (for example, California, Colorado, Virginia, and others), you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising. MaqtAi does not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected]; you may use an authorized agent, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.

13. Data deletion

You can delete the personal information associated with your MaqtAi account at any time. This section explains how, including data connected from third-party social platforms.

Connected social accounts: open the Integrations page and disconnect any platform (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook). Disconnecting immediately deletes the access tokens and account details we stored for that platform and removes our ability to act on your behalf. We never receive or store your social platform password.

Full account and data deletion: to delete your entire MaqtAi account and all associated personal data, including projects, generated videos, and connected-account records, email us at [email protected] from your account email address with the subject "Delete my data." We verify the request, remove your data from active systems within 30 days, and purge residual copies from backups within a limited period thereafter, except where retention is required by law.

What we store from connected platforms: only what is needed to publish at your direction: an encrypted access token, your platform account identifier and display name, and a record of the posts we published for you. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.
